Narrative

Melodious Be Carrell was born in Tennessee in 1830 and married Cornelia Henning in 1848. He died in 1869 at the age of 39. His will left everything to his wife and at her death everything was equally divided between the children. But if she should remarry, the estate should be divided between the children, giving his wife a child's share. The children were between the ages of 3 and 20 when Melodious Be died. His wife, Cornelia, died three years later of Yellow Fever.
