In Titus 2, older women are commanded to teach the younger women. Among the many things that need to be taught to younger women are soberness. This refers to not being extreme in any way. Older women should teach the younger women to love their families. This love is a love of service, a caring love. "...(teach) the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things, that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.' Titus 2:5 |
There might be women who are wondering as to how they would teach. If we are to be effective teachers, our teaching needs to be done with meekness. Women can teach in the classroom. They can teach family, friends and co-workers. There are classes in Vacation Bible School where teachers are needed. So often we find there are not enough teachers. |

prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers." Ephesians

Women can teach by writing or passing out tracts. It is so easy to leave a tract behind as you leave a restaurant. By performing such an act, we are teaching others. We can send emails to friends and or relatives. In the Great Commission we are told by Christ to go and teach. |
