Keys to a Successful Marriage
2020-11-28
I absolutely love this site! My husband and I have been married for 17
years now, and we have always made it a point to put God first in our
marriage. Our marriage is so good, and it's thanks to God! I agree
with all these keys to a successful marriage. It boils down to knowing and
ACCEPTING your God given designed role for each spouse. When each person
knows their role, accepts it, and performs it, only a great marriage will
result. If anyone reading my comment wants to further understand more
details, I recommend the book The Christian Family by Larry Christenson.

after i contacted Dr Stanley for help, I am the happiest woman today in
this world. Its a miracle and everlasting pleasure and cheerfulness for me
and my family today.. I am so happy now and i dont know how much to convey

What space does this Key allow for in marriage??
Must I allow my
partner to go out with his friends alone sometimes? How do I know what room
to allow? Can this be good for a marriage? young people to go have some fun
time apart with their friends? GIVE EACH OTHER ROOM FOR INDIVIDUAL
GROWTH
Each partner will have personal likes and dislikes. One
may be a sports fan, the other may not. Not all things have to be shared.

Gods blessing start at the head of the household. It is imperative for the
man to be that spiritual leader. He is to lead the woman and God is to
lead him.

I disagree with the "let the husband be the spiritual leader in the
family" part. The husband should be the leader of the household period
as that verse in the bible says and this does not necessarily mean the
"spiritual head".

Although I agree with most of these words, "let the husband be the
spiritual leader in the family" is misguided at best. Spirituality
knows no gender and families benefit by the spirituality of both parents
equally.

This was very inspiring. I do want to comment on the NIV ...I was shocked
when I looked and saw that verse missing, It is also missing in the Message
bible. But one that is very accurate to the greek version is the New
American Standard Bible.

This is a great page. My husband an i abstained before we got married He
was 46 and i 35 when we got married. So many people told me i would have to
compromise because of my age to encourage men but thank God i stood my
ground. Indeed there is respect and love and the eagerness to please each
other in our marriage we are best friends and yesterday was our 1st
annoversary.

Very good.. I really love all this, it has suh good information.. i just
have one concern: the NIV (and other translations) are not the word of
God.. the Bible says in three separate places not to take away or add to
the Word of God. The NIV and all other versions change so much to make it
say what man wants it to say - it's not what God has said (try looking
up Acts 8:37, it's a very important verse but you will not find it in
most any new versions) The King James Bible is the only Bible that has not
been tampered with by men.
Satan seeks to destroy God's word..
and slowly he is being more and more successful..
