to run for a third term, but he said, "No", and went back to the
plantation.
He later returned and became Commander in Chief of the
Army"
According to my history, he was Commander in Chief while
he was President. Why would he return after serving two terms as Commander
in Chief to become Commander in Chief of the Army? Otherwise, it great
history for young folks.

guy named John Hanson?!
John Hanson and seven other men each served one year terms as Presidents
under the Articles of Confederation.
George Washington was the first president under the Constitution.
