Parable of the Lost Sheep
This sheep is lost. It has wandered away from the flock, and has
come to a
very lonely place far off from its home. It cannot find its
way back, but if it
stays here, very soon some wild beast will come and
kill it. How foolish it
was in the sheep to wander away! And the
shepherd did not know it had gone,
but when at night he came to count
his flock, this one sheep was missing.
Then he set out to hunt for it.
He has come a long way and at last he has
found it.
